The Soviet Union continues to share recipes for homemade liqueurs. In the last article we described how to prepare a liqueur made from oranges, cherries or mint, and in this article you can read how to make homemade liqueur with the addition of coffee, chocolate, eggs or bananas.

Homemade liqueur: what’s cooking

Coffee liqueur

One of the most famous coffee liqueur is Kahlua, which is part of the famous cocktail B-52. If desired, you can prepare homemade liqueur with taste of coffee, almost the equal of her “famous” to the prototype. To do this, we take :

700 ml of water

500 ml of purified alcohol or vodka

250 g of sugar

50 g good coffee beans

Grind coffee beans in a coffee grinder (ready ground is better not to take, because it has a weaker aroma than freshly ground grain). Brew the coffee in a glass of water and pour into the jar together with the grounds. Tightly close the jar and insist in a dark place during the day.

A day carefully filtered coffee. From 500 ml of water and 250 g of sugar, boil the syrup (bring water to a boil, add sugar and cook on minimum heat, stirring constantly). Mix warm syrup, coffee, and alcohol or vodka, bottle and insist another day.

After 24 hours, filtered our homemade liqueur again and put in a dark place to infuse for (longer is better).

Chocolate liqueur

Sweet tooth, you probably will like homemade liqueur with chocolate. Light, sweet, flavorful — yum! To make the chocolate liquor, we get :

1.5 liters of alcohol or vodka

1 kg of sugar

500 ml of milk

300 ml of water

200 g of black chocolate without additives

a pinch of vanilla

Chocolate grate on a fine grater, pour cleaned with alcohol or vodka, add the vanilla and mix thoroughly. Insist in a dark place closed jar in a week. Every day you need to shake the jar.

In a week we prepare a syrup of water, sugar and milk. Mix the ingredients, heat over low heat, stirring, until then, until you dissolve sugar, and bring to the boil. Fully cooled syrup and mix with chocolate bitters.

Well we shake up the jar with the mixture and kept for 2-3 weeks. Then I filter out the liquor, and again sent to infuse. After 1-2 weeks homemade liqueur is ready!

Egg liqueur

Homemade liqueur made with eggs not only can you drink it pure or added to smoothies, but also use it for baking. To make homemade egg liqueur, we need :

1 liter of milk

500 g sugar

250 ml of vodka, brandy or rum

6 egg yolks

1 tsp vanilla essence

Add in milk, vanilla essence (you can substitute vanilla powder) and bring to the boil. Whisk the egg yolks with the sugar until smooth and a thin stream injected into the hot milk, mix thoroughly.

Cook the egg-milk mixture on minimal heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens. It is very important not to let the mixture boil, or the yolk will curdle.

Cool the mixture and gently entered into her vodka, rum or brandy. All mix thoroughly and filter in the bottle. Give liquor to infuse in a dark place.

Banana liqueur

Another homemade liqueur in your piggy Bank recipes. He has a sweet but not cloying taste. Important advantage of this liquor that it is not necessary to insist. To make it, we’ll take :

300 ml of vodka

150 ml milk

2-3 large banana

2 chicken eggs

1 Bank of condensed milk

Bananas are cleaned from skin and cut into pieces (if they are ripe enough, you can use a fork to make banana puree). Pour in a bowl of milk and vodka, add condensed milk, eggs and bananas. Stir and carefully beat with a mixer.

Then pass the mixture through a strainer, pour the liqueur into a bottle and a carafe and put it in the fridge. You can serve liquor to the table immediately, without insisting.
